Strain: Northern Lights Date Planted: 17 October, 2023 Date Sprouted: 29 October, 2023 Change to 12h light: 26 December, 2023 Lights: High Pressure Sodium (HPS) 30 December 2023: I changed my lights from an 18 hour/6 hour cycle to a 12/12 hour cycle on December 26th. This allows the plants to think it's time to flower and get ready for the end of the season. Every year when the humidity goes away I do my yearly grow. While I know there are ways to control humidity my main goal is to keep costs down because otherwise I could just go to a dispensary and grab what I want! :) My tent is a 4 foot by 2 foot tent with a high pressure sodium light. Circulation is maintained with a "breeze" fan which I can program to blow at different speeds (I usually just keep it on the default setting) and an exhaust fan that moves the excess heat and the aroma outside (I'm sure my neighbor loves it). If you are watching in the morning (Eastern Time, USA) you might actually catch me watering. Times vary based on my workload and ambition so there's no set time except that it's sometime in the morning. I water once a day. A: For most of my grows, due to limited space in my tent I use an autoflowering feminized seed. While some purists will argue that these seeds don't provide enough yield/don't grow/whatever, I've had great success! Plus I don't have to worry about keeping an eye out for males which will waste water and time while they mature. I'll have more FAQs coming soon, I just got this started! :)
